I actually have no qualms about someone’s personal eating preferences, whether it be for health, taste or ethical reasons. I do however find the arguments behind them quite amusing. Here is a hilarious video from the other side of the “I’m a vegetarian, I don’t eat meat.” statement.

This letter and story comes to light from a new book to be published June 27th, by former Apple marketing executive, Frederica Woods. In the book, titled iMaculate Conception: How Apple’s iMac Was Born, she goes on to describe how prior to the 1998 Christmas season Apple (and Jobs) devised an ad campaign using the likeness of Sean Connery as 007.

It seems Jobs is a huge fan of James Bond and even wanted to name the iMac the “Double-O-Mac”. He had the agency create a campaign even without Connery signing on. “The ad was of dubious quality, clearly not one of the agency’s finer moments,” says Woods.

After several attempts to get the go ahead from Mr. Connery he finally responded with the following letter. One thing is for sure, Sean Connery a.k.a. the best James Bond ever, is one fucking badass!
